Education Studies enable students to explore a variety of issues and contexts in contemporary education. Learning theories, pedagogical applications, diverse students and learning environments, as well as the impact of social trends and government policies are examined. Students are challenged in the integration of their faith and Christian values and are invited to develop personal philosophies in learning and teaching. Completion of this major will not qualify a student to apply for registration as a teacher.
BA students must complete ED792.306 - Directed Study in Education Studies and not ED732.306 - Professional Identity and Engagement.
