YT670 Youth Work Field Education 1 Part A
On successful completion of this unit, the student will be able to:
Develop and reinforce the learning experiences and outcomes already experienced in specified complementary units in the B.APP SOC SCI program
Develop capacities to appreciate contemporary debates about professionalism and ethics in respect to youth work
Demonstrate an introductory knowledge of how ethical conduct is practiced is the workplace
Demonstrate conceptual and practical understandings of contemporary youth work while considering new value frameworks from a Christian worldview.
Understand the different ways youth work identity is articulated
Demonstrate an understanding of arguments used in the workplace to legitimise professional status
This unit continues the placement started in YT670 Youth Work Field Education 1 Part A and must be taken in the semester immediately after that.
Results of Part A will be held until the completion of part B when both parts will receive the same grade.
