On successful completion of this unit, the student will be able to:
Evaluate and analyse a range of brief interventions for young people with a range of issues
Apply advanced theoretical and technical knowledge about brief interventions for mental illness
Test and critique advanced skills to engage collaboratively with young people to create positive outcomes
Develop and utilise well-developed judgement in professional practice.
This unit evaluates and analyses a range of brief and practical interventions that can make an immediate impact on the lives of young people, to improve their mental health and wellbeing.

This unit may be available in different modes of delivery i.e. online and face-to-face as listed above. The unit content will not differ between these modes of delivery. There will possibly be a difference in the schedule and/or the prescribed assessment tasks, however both will cover and assess the same content.
