Unit Description

This unit explores the dynamic relation between the three key areas of faith, reason and justice. These concepts will be explored by examining major biblical texts, influential thinkers (e.g. William Wilberforce, Oscar Romero, Martin Luther King Jr., Mother Theresa, and Desmond Tutu) and contemporary issues demanding thoughtful attention. A range of issues related to the three key areas will be examined: 1) the importance of faith and discipleship; 2) the importance of a reasoned faith, worldview and apologetics; and 3) the importance of justice and Christian works.
