On successful completion of this unit, the student will be able to:
Analyse and assess the value of current thinking and practice, as it applies to a selected research focus, and move beyond that to the development of original ideas and conclusions.
Produce a cogent, well-referenced research paper which effectively identifies and addresses the topic and the key emerging questions, and provides insights as to possible and appropriate solutions.
Produce research papers using high order research skills.
Develop a specialised understanding of the theology and practice of integral mission.
The topic researched will be established and checked and approved through the normal College processes. The detailed shaping of the unit will be based on discussion and planning between the students and the Academic staff member appointed as their research project supervisor.

This unit may be available in different modes of delivery i.e. online and face-to-face as listed above. The unit content will not differ between these modes of delivery. There will possibly be a difference in the schedule and/or the prescribed assessment tasks, however both will cover and assess the same content.
