Successful completion (achieving a grade of 70% or above for each) of at least two units (24 credit points) in the students area of specialisation.

On successful completion of this unit, the student will be able to:
Demonstrate an ability to critique literature, analyse information and/or data, present cogent argument(s), and apply learning to practical applications as they apply to the topic
Demonstrate awareness and understanding of the literature relevant to the topic
Demonstrate research skills of a high order
Demonstrate writing skills of a high order in a clear, coherent, logical and a well-referenced research paper
This will be established and checked and approved through the normal College processes. The detailed shaping of the unit will be based on discussion and planning between the students and the Academic staff member appointed as their research project supervisor.
The teaching method is supervision and support of the student who drives the research and shapes method of the project in consultation with the appointed supervisor.
