YT650.306 Professional and Ethical Practice for Youth Work
On successful completion of this unit, the student will be able to:
Develop and reinforce the learning experiences and outcomes already experienced in specified complementary units in the program
Develop capacities to appreciate contemporary debates about professionalism and ethics in respect to youth work
Demonstrate a introductory knowledge of how ethical conduct is practiced is the workplace
Demonstrate their conceptual and practical understandings of contemporary youth work while considering new value frameworks
Demonstrate an understanding of arguments used in the workplace to legitimise professional status
Understand the different ways youth work identity is articulate
