Description

Studying history will develop critical thinking, research, reading and writing skills and challenge students’ beliefs about Christians and their contribution to the world stage. Students will learn to analyse and assess a great diversity of evidence, data, opinion and perspective. These are invaluable intellectual and practical life skills, with immediate relevance in most careers.

The History major provides a mixture of world and Christian history to broaden students’ understandings of the contemporary world and help them consider its future in this light. The major will provide an grounding for future studies.
