Description

Community developers work in partnership with others to help build stronger communities, by advocating for and empowering others, including in disadvantaged and marginalised communities. You will gain a deeper understanding of relevant social justice and political issues to work in the field of community development, including policy and advocacy work, particularly in community strengthening for improved community cohesion. Students will engage with faith, reason and justice to empower people, particularly those who have been isolated or marginalised. This will all be studied from a Christian worldview.

You will gain experience in the field with two practicums of ten days each in different settings.
